I thank you from the bottom of my heart

I’m a first generation Chicano with a lot of my family living in Mexico. I went around town looking for an attorney that could have me and family reunite. I would go visit them at least 2-3 times a year. They are from the state of Michoacan. I needed my cousins to experience the American way of life.

I started in San Ysidro and went to all those offices that process immigration forms only. The first thing was they all wanted the money up front with no guarantees. “We will do our best” became like on over used slogan to me. Then by word of mouth I was told about Laura Talamantes. An attorney I thought it would be costly, but what won’t we do for family that is struggling with the economic nonsense of Peña-Nieto. Cost wasn’t going to deter me. My cousins are from different parts of Michoacan, Morelia, Uruapan, Lazaro Cardenas, and Patzcuaro. I thought a nightmare to get them all together and process the paperwork. It was a large load for her, but with that smile she told me no problem. To her it wasn’t that she wanted to cash in on this process. Her main concern was getting us back together on this side of the border. And we had a goal, my birthday. She did all the paperwork and every small detail was taken care of and like she said before, ” No problem”. The cost was a fair price and best of all me and my cousins were together for my birthday. To The Talamantes team and Laura I thank you for doing everything you did just to get a family back together on American soil legally. It meant the world to me to have them here by my birthday. I thank you from the bottom of my heart, we all do. You’re not good at what you do but more like awesome.

Sincerely,
